(CRITICAL INTERROGATION PRACTICE])

A food enthusiast not only emphasizes the exchange of flavors but also prioritizes creative improvisation, visualization, representation, and overall experience. What methods do you employ to inspire creativity? The food enthusiast meticulously curates flavors, colors, and textures to encourage guests to engage their creativity and enjoy the process. Each self-prepared canapé is unique, thanks to the diverse selection of ingredients provided.
The food enthusiast delivers a genuine experience in real time, fostering real-life interactions.
The service centers on the experiential aspect, where participants create their own canapés and share in the enjoyment of others' creations. Many couples find humor in the unconventional experience, strengthening their bond through the shared absurdity and intimacy of the moment.
How can food be used as a language between people?
Food serves as a catalyst for social interaction, capturing attention and initiating dialogue. We explored the possibility of individuals showcasing their personalities through their culinary choices. What insights can food preferences provide about a person, and how significant is the act of sharing meals in a relationship? Building on this concept, we developed 'Foodie Lover,' an engaging dating platform designed to connect individuals based on their unique flavor preferences.
In our promotional video, we presented Foodie Lover as a catering service for parties and events. Given that sharing meals has long been a cherished tradition in romantic contexts, discussing flavors and sampling each other's canapés offers an interactive means for individuals to bond. We emphasize the notion of 'Love at first taste,' encouraging the enjoyment of new connections and memorable experiences.

Working Method
To engage the public with our culinary narrative, we developed a logo accompanied by the slogan "Foodie Love - What’s your favourite flavour?" and posed a straightforward question: "From the 20 ingredients before you, which flavor combinations entice you?" We also considered the design of the food stall and the presentation of the dishes, specifically noting which canapés were crafted by women or men.
Setting up the food stall in a public area near Google and King’s Cross proved challenging, requiring us to relocate three times before successfully establishing our concept. While observing the crowds, we recognized that our initial focus on the locations overlooked the diverse audience and their varying age groups. Consequently, we opted to adapt our approach by transforming the food stall into a more mobile format, allowing us to circulate with trays around the university, particularly in the Waitrose area and at the university exit, to investigate food dating opportunities among students.
